Description

In this tutorial we'll give another boost to your blues rhythm chops by exploring a handful of extremely useful 9 chords, which is the slightly jazzier sounding chord that's used all the time in blues. We'll explore these chords within some fun slow blues examples, but after this you'll be able to use them other contexts as well all over the musical map.

I'll be using my Telecaster for these examples going through my old Ampeg tube amp with a mostly clean tone with a little bit of reverb. As always you can use any guitar and amp that you may have in your hands for these examples just make sure you don't use too much overdrive or reverb. Just a nice basic clean tone will do the trick.
